FAQ: Outlook 2016 Setup Guide

Description:

Mailbox 5 users:

1. Load Outlook
2. Click File located at the top left
3. Click Account Settings then Account Settings
4. Select your new mailbox from the list of accounts then click Change
5. On the account settings page ensure:
   5a. incoming server = us2.imap.mailhostbox.com
   5b. outgoing server = us2.smtp.mailhostbox.com
   5c. Ensure 'secure password authentication' is not ticked
6. Click More Settings
7. Click the Outgoing Server tab
   7a. Ensure 'my outgoing server requires authentication' is ticked
   7b. Ensure 'use same settings as incoming server' is selected
8. Click Advanced 
   8a. Ensure the Incoming Server port is 993 
   8b. Ensure the Incoming Server encryption is set to SSL/TLS 
   8c. Ensure the Outgoing server port is 587 
   8d. Ensure the Outgoing Server encryption is STARTTLS
9. Click OK then Next , a test will run
10. Click Close then Finish
