IPhone & iPad email setup

Before you add a mailbox to your iPhone or iPad we recommend that you check that you have verified you have the correct password for your mailbox.  To do this please browse to https://webmail.mailhostbox.com/ and login using your new email address and password. If you are able to login you can proceed with the steps below. If you are unable to login you have an invalid email address and/or password. You can verify your new email address or reset your password via My Services at https://portal.yorkukhosting.com/ 


Mailbox 5 Users

    1. Select the Settings icon from your home screen
    2. Click Accounts & Passwords
    3. Click Add Account then click Other
    4. Click Add Mail Account
    5. Complete the NameEmailPassword and Description fields then click Next
    6. Ensure IMAP is selected, it will have a blue background with white writing
    7. Under Incoming Server enter:
      1. Host name  = us2.imap.mailhostbox.com
      2. Username = ** enter your new email address **
      3. Password  = ** enter your new password ** 
    8. Under Outgoing Server enter:
      1. Host name  = us2.smtp.mailhostbox.com
      2. Username = ** enter your new email address **
      3. Password  = ** enter your new password ** 
    9. Click Next, Verifying will display at the top of your screen for a few seconds
    10. Ensure the Mail button is enabled, i.e. has a green background
    11. Click Save


Mailbox 25 Users

  1. Select the Settings icon from your home screen
  2. Click Accounts & Passwords
