After adding a domain to your reseller account you will be able to access once DNS propogation has completed. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours. This occurs when you have associated the reseller nameservers (ie. DNS1.HOSTING-PLATFORM.COM, DNS2.HOSTING-PLATFORM.COM, DNS3.HOSTING-PLATFORM.COM) with the domain.
Once your domain has propagated you may use the details below:
Webpage URL: http://www.example.com
FTP Hostname: ftp.example.com
The username/password are initially set the same as the control panel logon, they can be changed via the control panel.
After logging in to your webspace you will be presented with a folder matching the domain (eg. example.com) and within this there are several folders
- data - used to store Microsoft Access databases
- logs - contains a compressed copy of recent website activity logs
- wwwroot - this is where you place all of your website files (eg. HTML, images, etc)
The path to these directories is d:\sites\<customer-username>\<customer-domain>
It is important to note that although your account may include support for advanced features such as PHP, MySQL and ASP.NET they will not be automatically enabled. To enable the features login to the control panel, select 'Web' then 'Websites' followed by '{$service_domain}'. From this menu you can for example enable PHP support (if included with your account) by clicking on 'Extensions'.
