Description:
Email may be accessed via Webmail or using an email client running on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The email service is standards compliant so should work from Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android devices running an appropriate client using the details below:
Incoming (IMAP):

- Server: vmail.hosting-platform.uk
- Security: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS (required)
- Port: 143 (STARTLS), 995 (SSL/TLS)
Outgoing (SMTP Server):

- Server: vmail.hosting-platform.uk
- Security: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS (required)
- Port: 587 (STARTLS), 465 (SSL/TLS)
Webmail:
When choosing an email client ensure it is up to date and continuing to receive updates from the vendor. Whilst an old version of an email client may work, if it is not currently in mainstream support with the vendor we cannot investigate any compatibility issues. For example, whilst Outlook 2010 may work it is out of support and therefore in the event of issues we would direct you to upgrade to a supported version. The same advice applies to the underlying operating system being used, for example Windows 7 stopped receiving updates 14th January 2020.
